The MAHALO MPJ1 LAP TOP CAJON* is a practical and fun alternative to the traditional box cajon. It features two 10″ (255mm) wood playing surfaces and a 2.2″ (56mm) deep shell with inbuilt snare. 

This versatile instrument boasts two distinct playing surfaces: the top is ideal for producing Flamenco (snare) sounds, while the bottom surface delivers sound reminiscent of a traditional Peruvian (conga) cajon. The round sound port provides enhanced bass response.

The MAHALO MPJ1 LAP TOP CAJON may be played comfortably on your lap (secured by the included waist or shoulder strap,) and its compact size makes it the perfect classroom or rehearsal instrument, or a convenient travel companion.
