6.35mm Mono Male Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Female Audio Adapter
6.35mm Mono Male Plug to 3.5mm Stereo Female Audio Adapter
This 6.35mm (1/4") Mono Male to 3.5mm (1/8") Stereo Female adapter is a rugged all-metal utility audio coupler designed to convert standard small-format headphone plugs into a large-format instrument plug. Built with a hard-wearing textured grip, it lets you seamlessly interface everyday media devices, aux leads, and small headphones with professional live sound and studio hardware.
Because it adapts a stereo female socket down to a mono male connector, it bridges two completely different signal configurations by sum-mapping the audio path into a single mono destination.
Key Features
-
Robust All-Metal Housing: Constructed with a heavy-duty nickel-plated metal shell that protects internal connections from impact, bending stress, and everyday studio wear.
-
Knurled Non-Slip Grip: Features a textured, knurled barrel surface that ensures a secure, slip-free grip when plugging or unplugging the adapter from tight patch bays and mixers.
-
Precision Contoured Tip: The 6.35mm male TS (Tip-Sleeve) plug is engineered to precise industry tolerances, creating a firm, click-locked connection that prevents signal drops.
-
Low-Profile Form Factor: Compact, one-piece solid design eliminates the bulk and tangle of adapter cables, keeping your mixer board or instrument input clean and organized.

Audio Behavior Note: Because the male end of this adapter is Mono (TS), it features only one insulating ring on its shaft. When you plug a standard pair of stereo headphones into the 3.5mm female socket, this adapter physically links the Left and Right signals together inside the barrel.
If plugging into a Guitar Amp/DI Box: It safely merges your stereo feed into a single mono channel.
If using Stereo Headphones: You will hear the combined mono sound sent to both ears, rather than true left/right separation.
