Nestled between the coast and cliffs of Big Sur, Ventana has attracted novelists, poets, artists, and filmmakers for almost a century. Orson Wells, Jack Kerouac and many others cam here to seek inspiration. This inspiration is the base of the Sceptre Ventana Series.

Sporting an Okoume body, the Ventana delivers that sought after classic 60’s sound in a contemporary package. The North American hard maple and maple fingerboard has a 240mm/9.5” radius and a real bone nut. Three calibrated Levinson S-E1 single coil pickups feature ALNICO 5 magnets to deliver classic tone with solid top end bite to cut through while the custom 50mm magnet spacing of neck pickup ensures excellent string to string response. The middle position pickup is reverse wound/reverse poled for noiseless operation in positions 2 and 4.

The Ventana Standard carries a Wilkinson WOV 02 tremolo and die cast machine heads for smooth, effortless tuning. A modern classic for today’s demanding musicians.
