Artie's Music was established in Ingham, far North Queensland, in 1979 by none other than the Mr. Artie Gosling himself and his wife Betty.
In 1982 Artie was given the opportunity to take on Yamaha in Townsville. So he made the move to a tiny store on Charters Towers Road, which tripled in size over the next few years. In 2002 Artie retired and sold the store to his son and daughter–in-law, Wayne and Lucia Gosling, who are now the proud owners of Artie's Music Superstore.
In 2013 they moved the Charters Towers road store to 16 Ross River Road Mundingburra where it is today and is now has over 500 square metres of show room display and a wide variety of brands.
